Rocky island located in
the largest bay in Europe, the Mont-Saint-Michel abbey is known as "The
Marvel of the Western World" and is still one of the most famous pilgrimage
centers dating from the Middle Ages. The Mont St Michel is one of France's
most well known and (most photographed) landmarks and enjoys a
wonderful setting in the heart of the Normandy region, rich in history and
well known for its characteristic architecture, rich farmland, gastronomic
specialties and cheese. |

ITINERARY :
Rocky
island located in the biggest bay in Europe, the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey,
rightly named “The Marvel of the Western World” is still one of the most
famous pilgrimage centers since the Middle Ages and recognized as a World
Heritage site by UNESCO.
Drive
through the green landscapes of the Normandy region. Around 12.00 AM, lunch
with the famous "Omelette de la Mère Poulard" at noon at the Relais Saint
Michel facing the Mount. Guided visit to the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey. Free
time to stroll around the village. Departure at 4.30 PM. On the way back,
stop on the motor highway. Every customer will be offered a gift-souvenir of
local specialities. |
