Today, thanks to the TGV, world's fastest train, you can easily this delightful
region, the brightness of its light, the vividness of its colors and the charms

ITINERARY :
Transfer to the Gare de Lyon, where you will
board the TGV train departing at 09:34AM. Admire the various landscapes of
Burgundy and Rhone Valley.
After covering 700km (440
miles), arrive at Avignon at 12:15PM to first visit the Popes' Palace
(entrance and audioguide included) and free time. With your guide, drive
on to Saint Remy de Provence and the Roman ruins of Glanum (photo stop)
followed by a guided tour of the perched village of Les Baux which
overlooks the Rhone river delta. Free time for shopping of local products
(perfumes, Provencal fabrics).
Cross the Rhone river
between Tarascon and Beaucaire to reach the Pont du Gard located in a well
kept natural site, famous Roman aqueduct dating back to the 1st century
(guided visit and free time).
Transfer back to Avignon TGV station to
catch the train departing at 08:01PM arriving at Paris Gare de Lyon at
10:41PM.
