ITINERARY
DAY 1 Arrive in Rome and transfer on your own to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to relax. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 2 After breakfast, enjoy a half day to visit the monument of Rome. (Monumental Rome) Esquilino Square - Republic Square - Trevi Fountain (visit): The marvellous fountain where time seems to flow slowly as the water falling down the wonderful marble sculture. - The Pantheon (visit): The biggest pagan temple built by the emperor Adrian. - Navona Square (stop): The beautiful Baroque square with the enchanting Rivers Fountain, masterpiece by Bernini. - Justice Hall - Sant'Angelo Castle, The Pope's fortress - Via della Conciliazione - Saint Peter's Basiliaca (visit): In the Vatican the unforgettable masterpiece of the sacred art.Day 3 After breakfast, enjoy the full day at leisure explore on your own the "Eternal City". Overnight in Rome.
Day 4 After breakfast, transfer on your own to Termini rail station to catch your train to Florence, first class train ticket will be provided. Arrive in Florence and transfer on your own to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Florence.
Day 5 After breakfast, enjoy a half day guided tour of Florence featuring a drive by bus to the romantic "piazzale Michelangelo" to admire the roofs of Florence, an unforgettable panorama of the city. The tour continues by but to the centre of the city to have the guided visit of the Duomo, the Giotto's Bell Tower (outside) and the Battistero (outside) with its magnificent bronze doors. The visit continues entering the Duomo* to see the huge Brunelleschi dome. After the visit a short walk through the lanes of the historical centre will lead to the Accademia Gallery ** to see the Michelangelo David and other masterpieces of Italian fine arts. the tour ends in the museum.(*) Visit not possible on Sundays and religious holidays. (**) Closed on Mondays. To be changed with Bargello Museum or the Medici Chapels
DAY 6 After breakfast, enjoy the full day at leisure. Overnight in Florence.
DAY 7 After breakfast , depart the hotel and transfer on your own to the airport or rail station.
