The Domaine de Fompeyre is a magnificent estate located on the limit of the Sauternes wine region, a few miles from the Graves region. Standing on a 10-acre park with century-old trees and a beautiful palm grove, it is situated on a hill facing the millennial fortifications of Bazas. 

In the restaurant, huge bay windows opening onto the park offer panoramic views on the park and the nearby city of Bazas. The Cuisine is of excellent reputation and combines local flavors and seasonal aromas with a superb selection of wines. There is also a piano bar where you can relax and sip your favorite drinks.


   

The hotel is composed of two separate buildings, one with 15 bedrooms and a 4-star rating, and the other with 35 bedrooms and a 3-star rating. All rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with satellite TV, individual safe, direct dial telephone, trousers press, hair dryer and automatic alarm clock. The decoration is tasteful, with light colors and nice rattan and wood furniture combining harmoniously to create a bright and quiet ambience.

Lots of activities are proposed on site: hamman, Jacuzzi, American spa, 1 heated indoor swimming pool and 1 outdoor, bowling (!!), billiards, putting green, tennis court, bicycle rentals. Horse riding and rafting are available nearby as well as visits to historical sites and prestigious vineyards.
